(Today’s post has been cancelled due to stomach flu.)
Interior design, Church of Bowie style. I spent a merry evening the other week cutting out backing for my Cliff Chiang prints that I’ve been holding onto for two years, as they’re slightly smaller than the top loaders I bought. They are now all displayed together underneath my Stacy Lee Sailor Moon print. All of my art is now on my walls—adulting prize, please.
It’s New York Pride today, so I’m off to eat food out of trucks, buy rainbow things, and make all the booth volunteers tell me their spiels. My nails were actually painted like the bisexual flag this week, but I never took a good enough picture of them.
It’s been a rough week, friends.
I’m still exhausted from the week that was, so I’m not going to be very chatty today.
The first real evidence I’ve seen that we’re actually getting an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema—an outdoor screening of Labyrinth! Hearing the Drafthouse intro in Brooklyn was delightful.
I’m not saying that sarcasm is key to a solid grasp of the French language, but it definitely helps.
It’s still technically spring, but I can feel summer just around the corner and I am very excited for it.
So, uh, you know Lady Business? Which I am a contributing editor of? Well, we’ve been nominated for a Hugo Award, so go us!
It has been such a long week, kittens. On the plus side, I have discovered that at least two make fancy high-waisted pants with elastic waistbands, so I can look fancy AND be very comfortable.
