BBAW 2010: Future Treasure

We’ve been visiting each other and getting to know each other better…now is your chance to share what you enjoyed about BBAW and also what your blogging goals are for the next year!

It’s over already? What a shame! I was having so much fun!

Like most book blogging celebrations, I’ve ended up with a lot of new blogs to add to the RSS Feeds and a handful of books to add to the reading list. I have to say, I particularly enjoyed the community spirit– reading is a one-person pursuit. While I love the discussions we have year round, it’s nice to tell each other what we love about each other and feel all warm and fuzzy for a week.

As for my blogging goals for the upcoming year, I suppose I’ll continue in the same general vein–continue to read widely, improve my reviews, and give out my opinion on any and every thing in the book world and publishing industry that catches my eye. I do think I’ll try and coordinate more giveaways, as they’re quite fun for everyone, but other than that… steady as she goes, captain.

To my fellow book bloggers, thank you all for a wonderful week when I needed it, and to anyone who’s new to The Literary Omnivore–welcome!

  1. Please consider this comment your invitation to finish up your BBAW week by adding a link to any reviews you’ve managed to post this week to the Saturday Review of Books at Semicolon this Saturday. Every week book bloggers from all over the blogosphere post links to their reviews and other bloggers and readers check out the reviews and find even more books to add to their wishlists.

Thanks for blogging and reading and sharing.
